The new 150,000sq ft “2100 Kettner” project in downtown San Diego was led by our partner Swinerton. The six-story office building features 35,000 square feet of core and shell office space on Floors 2-6 and a sweeping rooftop deck overlooking the downtown San Diego coastline. Designed by architects at Gensler, the building is poised to attain coveted LEED Platinum certification. Sustainable features include: green roof space, solar PV system, EV charging stations, and modular wetlands stormwater treatment.
Sylvester Roofing was chosen to construct a pedestal rooftop deck system with Stepstone concrete and bison 2'x4' Cumaru wood tile, over a 80 mil Johns Mansville fully adhered PVC membrane, over 1/4 " cover board adhered over a tapered poly-iso rigid insulation system.
